Automated In Situ Hybridization and Immunohistochemistry System CEM InsituPro

Biological techniques such as in situ hybridization (ISH) and those used in immunohistochemistry (IHC) are time-consuming with many liquid handling steps that put samples at risk for pipetting errors or contamination. However, these protocols are necessary to visualize key genetic or molecular structures and their expression.

CEM has introduced a fully automated approach for ISH and IHC that eliminates the above experimental errors and accelerates sample processing speed. All preparatory steps from rehydration to antibody detection can be performed with microliter precision of liquid addition and novel methods for removal and addition of buffer solutions; this is applied to both whole mount/vibratomes and sections on slides in a high-throughput process.

Any biologist or biochemist researching the genome or genetic expression can benefit from considering the CEM InsituPro.
